Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish to mean "Rosalia") She is an Spanish Pop and Flamenco Singer. She has been a part of the fringes of both traditional and popular music since her teenage years, she is also involved in other styles like the hip hop soul genre and trap. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela has described her voice as sweet and sharp, yet having the grit of more mature singers. El Mal Querer, her follow-up album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical and commercial success. It topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and received an Grammy. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Her third long-player Motomami featured songwriting collaborations with many artists and producers like Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released in on March 20, 2022 following a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo performer to be a part of Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala, in addition to winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first woman ever to receive both awards.
